Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Wednesday in Owerri, ordered the immediate closure of nudity clubs in the state as it debased the Igbo culture.
Okorochas described the existence of such clubs as “strange and devilish” adding that it compounded the eroding morality of the youths in the state. He warned that the government will no longer condone their destructive activities.
The governor also banned under-age persons from attending night clubs in the state and warned that any club found admitting such persons or selling alcoholic drinks to them would be closed down permanently. (Credit: NAN)
